As a horned antelope they must be respected in that horns are lethal weapons and members of the hartebeest family are very capable of giving a good account of themselves.
Also expect to see elephant, warthog, impala, buffalo, hartebeest, eland and other smaller mammals.
But by description, the tsessebe is hartebeest in appearance and has a long face and sloping back similar to the hartebeest.
There are springbok, wildebeest, red hartebeest, lion, leopard, cheetah and giraffe among others.
