So by way of thanks to the lovely folk as the Merchant Bistro, I offer my version of cod with cannellini beans, three ways. |
In bowl, place 3-inch ring mold and fill with cannellini bean puree. |
Pour in two 14-ounce cans of white beans, such as cannellini or navy beans. |
They are usually a mixture of cannellini, flageolet and borlotti beans. |
I see no reason why you can't use equally mealy cannellini beans if that is what you have, though I have used butter beans before now and good they were too. |
Drain the cannellini beans and put into a large pot of cold water to cover. |
